Installing the app

• Install GumbyOps as an app
  Which address to open, how to add it to your phone or computer, and why notifications need the installed app.
• Install on iPhone and iPad
  Add the field app or the office console to your Home Screen from Safari or Chrome, turn on notifications, and remove it.
• Install on Android
  Install the field app or the office console from Chrome, turn on notifications, and remove it.
• Install on a Mac
  Add the office console to your Dock with Safari, or install it with Chrome or Edge, then turn on alerts.
• Install on Windows
  Install the office console with Edge or Chrome, pin it to the taskbar, turn on alerts, and remove it.

Field app

• Sign in and accept an invite
  Open your invite, sign in with your phone number, agree to location while on the clock, and add the app.
• Clock in and out
  Clocking in at a job site, picking or switching jobs, clocking out, and exactly when the app reads your location.
• Today: notes, photos and supply runs
  What the Today tab shows, adding a note with a photo, editing or deleting today's notes, and recording a supply run.
• Team chat
  Channels, @mentions, replies, photos, editing your messages, muting a channel, and hidden messages.
• Turn on notifications in the field app
  Which notifications the field app sends, how to turn them on, and what to do when they're blocked.
• Troubleshooting the field app
  Waiting to sync, working with no signal, "We couldn't reach the server", updates and restarting, and sign-in problems.

Office console

• Get started with the office console
  Open and install the console, sign in or accept an office invite, and find your way around.
• The Board
  Schedule crews on the week board by dragging jobs or with the + Add job button, move and remove assignments, copy a day, and set job colors.
• Jobs
  Add a job with its site, crew lead, manager and color, edit it, mark it complete, and read the crew's notes in Daily logs.
• People, invites and roles
  Invite people, change a role, deactivate someone, and what each role can do.
• Time cards and the payroll export
  Review flagged punches, correct and approve time cards, and download the payroll CSV.
• Team chat for the office
  Read and post in channels from the console, add company channels, and hide a message (Admins only).
• Alerts in the office console
  Turn on alerts for off-site clock-ins, long shifts and chat on each computer or phone, and fix blocked alerts.
